Donald Trump is paying rent for his Washington, DC apartment, reports Axios
WASHINGTON, DC—A new report from Axios claims that Donald Trump’s new rental property in the heart of the city is paying the rent for apartments on the building’s top floor.
The report says that the apartment building is named the Trump International Hotel Washington, D.C. because of the hotel’s namesake, Donald Trump.
According to the report, the rent paid by the building is in addition to the rent that it pays to its tenants.
The apartments are located at 1325 14th St., and include one unit for rent for $3,350, two units for rent of $3.45 million, and a three-bedroom unit for $2.7 million.
The rental price for the units are $2,250 per month, and the building reportedly rents for $1,750 per month.
The rent for the first and third floors are not reported.
The building also reportedly pays $2 per month for the elevator and the elevator’s elevator fee, $2 a month for security deposits, and $200 a month to cover maintenance and rent for its elevator.
