‘This is what real estate is supposed to look like’: Grandview apartments for sale at historic West Point
A luxury high-rise in Washington’s historic West Post Park is set to go on the market for a record price.
The two-story apartment complex, located at 1401 Pennsylvania Ave., has five stories of four and a half floors, according to the listing, for $1.8 million to $2 million.
It has a rooftop terrace, which has a view of the Washington Monument, and an outdoor courtyard with seating for 30.
It’s located on a former Army base near the National Mall, where it was used for military training, according, to the website of the real estate firm Cushman & Frierson.
The building is the second-tallest of five buildings in the area, behind the West Post’s original location, and the tallest residential building in the city.
It also includes the Grandview Towers, the tallest luxury residential building west of the Mississippi River, which was constructed in 1772 and was the tallest structure on Manhattan’s West Side.
