The fox run apartment is torn apart
Fox Run apartments have been torched in London’s west after a fire destroyed the building.
Residents say they are now renting apartments from private landlords.
It happened at Fox Run Apartments in Pinner, East London.
“We’ve been here for 12 years and we’ve never seen anything like this before,” said one resident.
There were three fires at the apartment, but they were quickly extinguished.
A police statement said the apartment was “completely destroyed”.
“The fire started at around 11:30pm and quickly spread across the apartment complex, destroying the entire building, the roof and most of the walls,” it said.
A fire brigade spokeswoman said “some of the building was completely destroyed and the rest of the apartment building was damaged by smoke and water”.
Residents of Fox Run said they were renting apartments for rent from private renters.
It is unclear how the blaze started.
Fox Run apartments are on the market for £700 a month and the building is now completely destroyed.
The fire is being treated as arson.
Police have launched an investigation into the cause of the blaze.
